Glenita Famuyiwa and Kenya Pierre-Mosley are natives of Carson, CA. Both sisters are graduates of the University of Southern California, with degrees in Communication and Broadcast Journalism respectively. Glenita is a Certified Tea Specialist and Stay at Home Mom of three. Kenya is a Mom of one who’s worked in the media industry for over twenty years.

The sisters have strengthened their bond over experiencing the joys of tea drinking. Growing up, their parents, Glenda and Herman, often told stories about their family and what it was like growing up in Pittsburgh, PA for Glenda, and in Compton, CA, for Herman. After realizing they could create a business in sharing their love of tea drinking, and love for their family story, they decided to pay homage to their grandmothers, who were both influential in their lives. Both grandmothers, Virginia from Arkansas and Della from Louisiana, were great cooks, and their love and warmth came through in their food. Glenita and Kenya want to bring that down home comfort feel straight to your home when you experience their lovingly curated teas, along with providing a legacy for their family through something they love and enjoy.
